How to download a Chase PDF bank statement
- Sign in to Chase Online.
- Open the account you want, then go to Statements & Documents.
- Select a month and download the PDF statement.
- Make sure the PDF includes opening and closing balances.
Convert the PDF to Excel
- Upload the PDF and let StatementScribe extract transactions.
- Export to Excel or CSV with consistent columns (date, description, amount, balance).
Tips for accountants
- Keep one PDF per account per month for clean reconciliation.
- If you receive multiple PDFs, upload them separately and merge in Excel.
- Need QuickBooks/Xero imports later? Start with CSV and keep a stable column map.
FAQ
Can I use a transaction list instead of a statement PDF?
You can, but statement PDFs usually include balances and consistent formatting, which improves reconciliation.
Does the export work for QuickBooks or Xero?
Export to CSV first for maximum compatibility; QuickBooks/Xero-specific formats can be added as an integration later.
